About Me

I am Sandy and very pleased to meet you. Photography is my passion, my emotional release and that which feeds my sense of adventure. Anyone who sees me or is with me on one of my Photo Adventures knows that I’m not a photographer taking photographs. I am a Free Spirit Capturing Emotion.

Every time I bring one of my cameras up to my eye and look through the lens I am transported into a world of amazement. I always say, “If everyone could only see what I see through my camera lens, this would be a much better world.”

I look for that one special look the boy gives his girl right after he puts the ring on her finger that tells her “I’m going to love you forever”. I capture that very moment when a Daddy realized his Little Girl is not only a woman but also the most beautiful bride he has ever seen. I watch a face for that very moment when a person’s brain signal connects with a special memory or thought, sends that signal to their heart, and lights their face with true emotion.

I look to capture that bond between a human and animal that says, “I’ve always got your back no matter what”. It is even important to capture those times that are sad and painful for without the memory of being truly sad, we cannot fully appreciate the happiness in our lives.

Happiness to me is traveling around on Photo Adventures to capture the emotions of God’s creation of heaven and earth.

I am fortunate to live in a place filled with the ocean, lakes, rivers, streams, mountains, and forests. Places where the first settlers of America left footprints on sand and the soil where and brother fought against brother and the brutality of it all makes one’s blood boil.
